Hi! You are seeing this profile mainly because I love my country and I really enjoy tour-guiding. I am an Albanian, born and raised in Tirana, who has lived through the dramatic changes of the Albanian capital in the past 36 years. Although I have traveled extensively in my adult years, I am always thrilled to come back to my home-city. As the saying goes, "East or West, home is the best". If you choose to travel Albania with me, you will find out that I am passionate about the stories behind every street or corner, buildings and ruins, old neighborhoods or skyscrapers, traditional cuisine and fancy restaurants. I am fascinated by the ancient history of my country, enriched by its culture and traditions, challenged by the dynamics and changes, forever in love with its attractions and thrilled to be able to show you around. I have been working as a full time tour guide since 2008 and it seems like I am going to be doing this for many years to come. This tour will give you insight into the history of Albania and contemporary life. The tour includes the capital city Tirana with its many tourist attractions and then Kruja the capital city of the middle ages. In Kruja we will visit the castle and museum and the traditional medieval bazaar. Then, we move towards Durres, one of the oldest cities in Albania, where we shall visit the ruins of a roman amphitheater, byzantine walls, Venetian tower and archaeological museum.

If you are short in time, I highly recommend this tour of Tirana, Kruja, and Durres. I got to see and learn so many many things about these three important cities of Albania. The sites were all so beautiful and I was also blessed with a beautiful day. Albanian hospitality is amazing and I do hope to return to this country and see more about the country with this guide.
Adrian is not only a great guide, knowledgeable and didactical, but also a great person. He not only gave us the raw historical perspective, but also a lot of the culture. The itinerary was perfect for a day long tour.

We start in Tirana city center and continue with the city tour and museum. After Tirana we continue to Kruja city where we visit the Bazaar, castle and two museums. We conclude in Durres city with visits of the center, Roman Amphitheater and archaeological museum. And if you have any special interests, please let me know!
