Hanoi is a long way from the bay. Car very comfortable to ride in and guide very informative along the way. He customized the tour for us to see what we wanted in Hanoi. The lunch was excellent with more food then we could eat. We got to see the train street in old quarter timed with train passing by. With the driver we were able to see many things in only one day....

Timothy, thanks a lot, that was such a fun day. Hanoi is definitely a haul from the bay, so I’m really glad we made the most of it and got the train street moment just right, plus that huge lunch in the middle of it all. Really glad I got to show you around the city a bit.
We're grateful Tai was available to take us on a customized tour of Ninh Binh. We appreciated visiting Hoa Lu, where we learned about the early history of Vietnam. Tai's English is far better than "conversational" as he modestly notes on his profile; we were able to exchange thoughts on complex matters related to culture and history.

Hikaru, Jeff, thanks so much, that really means a lot. I had a great time with you both, especially our chats at Hoa Lu and all the interesting back-and-forth on Vietnamese history and culture. Really glad we got to spend the day together.
We had a great time! Tai was excellent and knowledgeable. The cave was very beautiful and Tai pointed out many fun and interesting facts. We were a bit disappointed we couldn’t see a few things because the tide was too low but we enjoyed our trip very much!

Susan, thank you so much. I’m really happy you still had such a good time, and I loved getting to explore the cave with you and share some of the little details along the way. The low tide was a bit of a regret, but I’m glad the day still turned out to be a fun one.
Danny was an excellent guide who gave us incredible insight into the experiences and culture of Hanoi and also HaLong Bay. What a treasure.! Driver on the first day was also excellent and made the entire experience quite easy. Highly highly !! recommend both of them
