We were initially a little nervous considering a private tour as a shore excursion but Sammy put us at ease initially by answering all of my questions and then followed through with a really amazing day. Sammy is very knowledgeable and also very personable which made the entire day a learning experience as well as very enjoyable. Thanks to her arrangements and organisation we had a 40 person boat all to ourselves to tour Halong Bay and it seemed like we were the only ones visiting the caves thanks to Sammy's exquisite sense of timing. We finished off the day with a local coconut coffee before boarding our cruise ship once again. Just an amazing day. Thank you Sammy!!

Sammy was an outstanding guide! She took us to interesting and different places while providing excellent information about Vietnam culture. The driver and car were great! We had a private boat tour of Halong Bay and were delighted with the arrangements made by Sammy. Great lunch at the Blue Butterfly and loved the egg coffee at Sammy's choice of cafe. Don't hesitate - go on one of Sammy's tours!

We had a great day with Sammy and would highly recommend her . She is very knowledgeable and friendly explaining the history and culture of the area in an interesting way . Sammy (Dang) was a great tour guide! As we were only in Hanoi for a short time, the traditional Ha Long Bay tours offered online did not work for us. Sammy worked with us to make sure we were able to do and see everything we desired in a shorter time frame. She was very knowledgeable but knew exactly when to (or not to) offer information so my children were not enduring a constant history lesson but also allowed ample opportunity to just have fun. Our Ha Long Bay Unique Shore Excursion was amazing! there were 3 in our private group with a most fantastic guide, Sammy (Sam)! She knew the best times to hit the sites when they were least crowded. We also were able to experience being in rice fields where we learned and watched the rice planting and harvesting! We learned so much history and culture throughout the day. We had a private cruise boat and toured the cave, kayaking, seafood lunch, etc! Sam was so awesome, we booked her for more in Hanoi!

Dang H (Sammy) met us (8 in our group) at the pier gate after a miscommunication of where to meet. She was a very pleasant and friendly young lady and spoke fluent English. The van was a 12-seated van with AC and comfortable. She took us to various places in town according to our wishes before going to a private boat for a fantastic seafood lunch cruise in Halong Bay. She was very helpful in every way. We had an enjoyable excursion despite the cloudy and light rain that day. Highly recommended.
