Steve was absolutely amazing. The tour was truly a behind the scenes experience. We saw how the Vietnamese people live life. His English was very easy to understand. He is very intelligent and well as charming. The day we spent with him was perfect. The transportation was great with plenty of room for the nine travelers in our group. Steve made suggestions to our itinerary which really made the day flow smoothly and kept it very interesting. He combined history, culture, food, and great shopping. The restaurant he brought us to was very authentic and we experienced how the regular people eat every day. The driver was fantastic. He made you feel safe and he really knows his way around and how you handle a large vehicle. I highly recommend choosing Steve. It was a bang of a time.

We were able to customize a 2-day tour with Steve based on our cruise ship docking in Ha Long Bay with an overnight stop. We booked a hotel in Hanoi (not included in the tour) and Steve and his driver were prompt and communicated quickly via WhatsApp. But the real fun was our historic tour and food tour in Hanoi. Steve is a wonderful guide for the history of the city and region, and very passionate about the North Vietnam people and food. We enjoyed a tremendous array of food over 6-7 stops for dinner on the first night and lunch on the second day. The evening dinner tour was done on scooters (which isn't for the faint of heart!) but we had a blast. The food we had included Vietnamese savory pancake, Bun Cha (amazing!), Nha Trang spring rolls, dried beef salad, and Pho Ga, and finally the most delicious Egg Coffee ever. HIGHLY recommend Steve and his tours.
We cannot imagine having a better experience than we did with Steven. Every detail was perfect from having a private boat to being served phenomenal food. He catered to all of our wishes perfectly. His knowledge of history and culture is phenomenal and he is a joy to be with.
