Tour guide in Lucerne Rita P.

Hi, my name is Rita. I was born at the shore of Lake Lucerne and have been living at different places around the lake and since 6 years I have been staying right in the center of Lucerne city. Lucerne area has been discovered by tourism since Queen Victoria's time. So there is a great possibility in my city to meet people from all over the world. I like to get into contact with them and to show my preferred aspects of the city, the lake and surrounding mountains. I love cultures, languages and people in general. So for me tour guiding is also an exchange with other cultures. My main profession is in the field of natural medicine. I love plants, animals and nature. I love to show the hidden places of unspoilt nature to small groups. Since 6 years I am a certified tour guide with a group tour company, leading groups to the mountains around Lucerne. I prefer though to deal with small groups where you enter in a more personal contact. I am a good listener, like to laugh and take life easy. I am almost a retired person, but still very active. I do hiking, bicycle riding, yoga, gardening, snow shoe hiking, swimming. If there is a chance to share some of my sportive activities with guests, I am very happy. In Switzerland there is a very dense net of public transport. So, if possible, I prefer to use it.
