Thanks to my passion for art, architecture and local history, since 2007 I have been working as a Licensed Tour Guide and Tour Director in Tuscany and Cinque Terre. I love creating unique cultural itineraries and culinary tours for single travellers, family and small groups who wish to experience a warm, authentic, human connection! My goal is to make the most of your time in Italy, so I tailor the tours to your needs and interest in order to give you an unforgettable time and 'new eyes'! I design: -Art, architecture and history tours -Ancient arts and crafts tours -City walks with visits to off-the-beaten path attractions -Day tour of Tuscan hilltowns (Volterra and San Gimignano) -Culinary Tours and cooking class in Tuscany coutryside -Truffle Hunting and Truffle tasting in San Miniato -Extra virgin olive oil tasting (+ visit of olive grove and olive mill) -Cheese tasting in an organic farm located in an amazing scenery -Wine tours in the countryside around Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, San Gimignano and on the Etruscan coast (Bolgheri) -Boat tour of Cinque Terre (end of April- mid of September) -Cinque Terre hiking & walking tours Note: some of the tours can be combined! If you are looking for a half/full day Guided Tours and you wish to travel at your rithm, discovering off-the-beaten path attractions, not to mention local food and wines, just book a tour with me! In the years I have gained expertise and experience in tourism practices that enable me to create very specific itineraries, according to the style, interests and time available to travellers. There is certainly to learn, but not at the expense of fun! The discovery of the sites also includes the most interesting areas of city life, like cafes, shops and nice meeting places. Lucca is incredibly charming and seeing the city by bike was convenient and enjoyable. Martina was very helpful and knowledgeable. Due to some changes with our cruise the details of our tour needed to change with short notice and Martina was incredibly accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend Martina and Lucca!
Martina was wonderful and provided us with an amazing and memorable day. Because of her outstanding planning and coordination, my wife and I had the opportunity to visit and spend time learning about and experiencing 4 of the 5 villages during our port of call. She was so friendly and fun to be with. Thank you Martina for an incredible day.
Martina was an exceptional guide and truly made our Cinque Terre experience special. She was knowledgeable, warm, engaging, and incredibly personable—we quickly felt like we were exploring with a friend rather than simply taking a tour. Her passion for the area brought every stop to life, and we genuinely treasured the time we spent with her. We would wholeheartedly...
Martina was AWESOME! Dealt with clients well in very above-average heat. She knew her history well and everyone learned a ton. My only feedback is that this was much less of a food tour than they were expecting so if a client wants a focus on food and less on the history/highlights of Pisa, be sure to communicate in advance and I'm sure Martina can adjust. She was...

July 2026Dear Amy, thank you so much for your kind words of appreciation and your feedback! I thought they wanted to know some details about the history of the 'field of miracles' and the Leaning Tower before climbing it and going on for the food tour. Next time I double-check with travellers what they really want to focus on before starting the tour. All my best, Martina x
