Welcome to Prague! I'm Filip, a licensed private tour guide born and raised in the City of a Hundred Spires. I've been guiding visitors in Prague since 2009 and have worked as a full-time private guide since 2016. Over the years, I've helped visitors discover not only Prague's famous landmarks but also the stories, history and everyday life that make this city so special. Whether we're exploring the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge or visiting Prague Castle, I always adapt the tour to your interests, questions and pace. I believe the best tours are conversations rather than memorized lectures, so every experience is personal and tailored to you. I studied French Literature and also hold an MBA. Besides history, I enjoy languages, literature, travelling and competitive checkers, having represented the Czech Republic at World Championships and other international tournaments. I love meeting people from different cultures and sharing my passion for Prague with visitors from around the world. If I could give Filip 5,000 stars instead of just five, I would! The character limit is too short to adequately describe how wonderfully Filip supported our experience, from first contact all the way to the end. Filip was wonderful. He met us on time at our hotel. He helped us navigate the metro and gave us tips for visiting other sites. The tour itself was informative with his personal insight. The castle area is just beautiful and rich in history. We hope Filip did well at his Checkers tournament.
