Prague Castle Walking Tour with a Local

Prague Castle is one of my favorite places in Prague! I particularly like Saint Vitus cathedral, with its colorful stained-glass windows and a unique Gothic architecture. During the tour, I will walk you through this magnificent monument and explain interesting details of its construction. Leaders of the Czech people supported it's construction, and finally it became the most important church in our country. After the cathedral, we will visit the Old Royal Palace with its grandiose Vladislav Hall where kings held large banquets for important people and foreign dignitaries. In modern times our president's inaugurations took place in there. There is more to come. We will also visit Saint George's Basilica whose construction dates back well over a thousand years. At the conclusion of our visit, we enter the pictoresque Golden Lane. In this beautiful setting, royal alchemists in service of their emperor tried to invent a magical potion of longevity.
