I have been working as a tour guide since 1988. In 2001 I finished my degree and became an official guide for Pernambuco State , Recife is the capital , Brazil and South America. I work as guide/driver, with my own cars and vans, up to 15 people, guiding in Recife, Olinda, and all State of Pernambuco. I also guide Brazilian groups in buses up to 65 people taking them to historical sites and paradise beaches, about 1 to 2 hours drive from Recife. English, Spanish, French, Italian and Hebrew speakers are VERY WELCOME. I can tour you around with great pleasure. My tours are VERY RELAXED and PRIVATE and my goal is ALWAYS to offer the BEST I can give. So no hurries, with stops for pictures, explanation, delicious and fresh coconut water, contact with local people, artists, hand crafters. . . etc. Tourism and guiding for me is MUCH MORE THEN JUST A PROFESSION. . Carlos was a fun and knowledgeable guide. A native of Recife, he has traveled extensively and offers great and candid insight about local culture and history. Of course the tour hit all of the usual local attractions, but Carlos' commentary put the area and Brazil itself Into perspective.
