Enjoy the city of 100 spires, red roofs, bridges and churches with Private Guide
Experience Prague from a different perspective and gain a wondrous insight from famous and unusual panoramic hills, towers and spires. Wonderful vantage points and a delight for photographers! Depending on time and how fast you walk we can include 2 towers, a park, a cafe with the best classic view of the river and end at the Strahov Monastery for a unique beer still brewed by the monks!
If you are less fit and older in years the tour can be adapted to your pace and needs and we can use the towers with lifts etc. ! We can even take the cog tram up to Petrin Hill and the Strahov Monastery.
I have a full list of all possible panoramic vantage points and usually select the highlights giving a nice mix of views - but you can also choose the ones that suit you and your interests.
This is not the standard tour you will book through the local agents and if you have already enjoyed my ORIENTATION TOUR on your 1st day it is an ideal follow up tour.
The exact itinerary depends on how fast we walk, your preferences, the weather and time! Normally I start in the Old Town and include either the Old Town Hall Tower or the Powder Tower. We then walk to Charles Bridge and go up one of the towers at the east or west end for a great view. On up to Prague Castle complex where we can go up one of the smaller fortification towers or the main Bell Tower of St. Vitus Cathedral!
We end at either the Strahov Monastery Brewery for a panorama of the city or the cafe with the best view of the river and bridges.
If the weather is bad or not clear we can follow a limited panorama option and include the main sites of Prague Castle etc.
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: Flexible depending on the needs of the customer and where they are staying. If a central location I can meet at your hotel or flat. If not a central place to suit you like the Old Town Square Starbucks!
End location: Again it can be back at your hotel or the point where we end the tour.
Duration: 3 hours 30 min.
If we are enjoying a drink and a chat at the end on a nice terrace with a great view the tour can run over as time passes fast when doing a lot and having fun! If you need to finish at a specific time I can also adapt the tour or make sure you end up at the next place on time!
Walking - as this is the best way to see this wonderful city. No segways, bikes or taxis needed BUT we can use a tram to get to certain distant locations or Petrin Hill depending on the exact itinerary followed and how energetic you are!
Estimated Local Cash Needed
250 CZK - An estimate for entry to tower or similar building depending on exact inclusions + cost if we stop for a coffee.
As exam is in Czech I never got a local guide license! Walking tours use local trams if necessary but car/bus can be booked where needed for Czech tours.

David showed us many new areas of Prague that we did not discover on our last guided tour. He was very pleasant and very knowledgeable of Prague other than the areas that everyone can see on their own. Would highly recommend David as a Prague guide.
