Trip to visit Hoa Lu - Tam Coc known as Halong inland with biking optional from Hanoi

Anh is a great tour guide taking great care of our family with young kids and elderly, eg arranging itinerary, helping with logistics planning and taking us to try the best food in Vietnam. He is very experienced and is very knowledgeable about the history and landmark. He was able to point out special features that were not mentioned in the description or guide book which we would never know otherwise. Thanks to all the remarks and hospitality, we had a very pleasant trip and learnt and saw a lot.

A first class day out with Anh and his driver. He took us to the less tourist area to enjoy cycle ride and a sampan trip where the boatman rows with his feet! This was followed by a varied and very well cooked / tasty meal at Bamboo restaurant before a visit to a 1000 year old temple. Highly recommend Anh.

You will not be disappointed if you decide to journey with Anh to Hoa Lu and Tam Coc for a travel experience of your life. Anh uses his knowledge and experience to make this eight hour tour an enjoyable and rewarding day! He was able to make stops at these two very touristy areas seem like we were the only ones there. His timing was impeccable!

A fantastic day. Though I would have liked to spend more time in Ninh Binh, this day trip gave me a good overview of what Ninh Binh has to offer. I really liked that the journey on the river was away from the hustle and bustle of the major tourist route on the river. For most of the journey I felt that we were the only ones on the river. It was great! Anh was an excellent guide offering just enough commentary while also letting me soak up this magnificent landscape in blissful silence. Thanks, Anh.

Overall, it was an amazing experience. Anh brought us to places away from the tourists so we did really enjoy our quality time around Tam Coc. We took the boat ride from a private area so we didn't see any tourists around us (good photo ops as well!). And, where he took us for lunch to try Tam Coc's signature dish was also delicious! Anh knows what he's doing and would definitely recommend him to others who are looking for a private tour around Tam Coc / Hanoi :)
