A Nice Glimpse of Hanoi Highlights - Full Day Tour

Hannah is a very personable young lady, very knowledgeable about all aspects of her city. She has a very good command of English, both speaking and understanding, and she is very good at customizing itineraries " on the fly". We can expect a licensed guide to "know her stuff", but Hannah makes everything very pleasant, and at the end of the day she's just a very nice lady. For us, she was the perfect guide and we think she'll be perfect for anybody. We can't say enough good things about her.

I highly recommend touring with Hannah. She was friendly, flexible and knowledgeable. We made several changes the day of the tour and she was very accommodating. Her spa and shopping recommendations were excellent too. It was such a pleasure spending the day with Hannah in Hanoi!

Hannah was the perfect guide and I totally recommend going around Hanoi with a guide because everything is so spread out. Hannah was so knowledgeable and kind and let us go at our own pace, which was greatly appreciated. It was the best money spent on our vacation to Vietnam.

The City Tour takes you to the highlights of Hanoi, and Hannah organized the day efficiently: a “must visit” to the HCM Complex / Parade Grounds; to “Train Street” hot coffee or tea (and where the tracks run down the alley, resulting in sipping coffee inches from the passing train. (Train comes twice a day; we were there 15 minutes prior to get a good seat.) She has the history and event information; you can’t get this via audio guide. Hannah has excellent English. Best of all: she shares her life of growing up in countryside and moving into Hanoi, studying at University, and the culture, religion, economics (both macro and on-the-street level) of living and working in Hanoi and northern Vietnam. It is WONDERFUL to have her insights and answers to our many questions. WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend Hannah. (See my comments on her other tours.)

We spent a delightful day with Hannah. An excellent guide, fluent in English, who brought Hanoi’s history and Old Quarter to life with knowledge, insight and warmth. The tour was perfectly tailored to our interests, with authentic local food experiences and rich historical and cultural commentary throughout. We had a wonderful day in Hanoi with Hannah, who was an outstanding guide from start to finish. She picked us up promptly from Noi Bai Airport in a private car, making our arrival completely stress-free. Hannah took us to all the must-see highlights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex, Tran Quoc Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison, and the famous Train Street, where we enjoyed a drink and watched the train pass just a few feet away—an unforgettable experience. We also explored narrow alleys to see everyday local life and enjoyed an excellent lunch at a unique restaurant. Hannah’s deep knowledge of Hanoi’s history, culture, and architecture, combined with her warm personality, made the day both educational and enjoyable. She truly brought Hanoi to life, and we highly recommend her.
