My trip will take you to the outstanding natural beauty and historical significance of northern Ninh Binh province to discover the Vietnamese ancient capital and the picturesque scenery of Trang An. Rather than superb attractiveness and geological interest of the landscape, you will find yourself attracted to its historical and cultural values. In the ancient capital city of Hoa Lu, we will explore the enchanting tombs and temples dedicated to our Kings. Next head to Trang An, an area that is often referred to as "Halong Bay on land" and explore the stunningly statuesque geological formations that dot the landscape.
In Hoa Lu there are now 2 temples that have been built on the ground of the old royal palace, one is dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang, the other is to King Le Dai Hanh. The visit offers a chance to know more about part of feudal dynasties and historical periods in Vietnamese history. - 8:00am leave the hotel in Hanoi. - About 10:30am arrive at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. - An hour for lunch at local restaurant with local food. - After lunch, take the amazing boat trip to visit Trang An grottoes. The end of the day, drive back to Hanoi. - 16:00 leave Trang An and drive back to Hanoi at 18:00.
