Overview of your Hanoi tour
Mai Chau is a beautiful and romantic valley of Hoa Binh province, 140 km northwest of Hanoi. If you love peace, wish to escap the crazy traffic in big cities, Mai Chau is the right destination. This place will seduce you by the pure beauty, rustic mountains, swidden rice fields, especially the special culture of ethnic minority communities. Pu Luong -Paradise land of Thanh Hoa Province: Pu Luong nature reserve is located in the northwest of Thanh Hoa province, with an area of 17, 662 ha, mostly of primary forest. Pu Luong is home to the Muong and Thai ethnic groups. The name Pu Luong in Thai means the highest peak of the village. It is home to the green forests, streams and waterfalls, beautiful scenic mountains and forests In addition, Pu Luong is the largest lowland limestone forest in the north with three main types: lowland forest, limestone forest, bamboo shoots and shrubs. I wish to invite more guests in this tour to discover nature and local culture, also to support ethnic tribes here.
Your Hanoi tour itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi - Mai Chau - Pu Luong Depart from your Hanoi hotel at 8:00 am transferring to Mai Chau. Daydream as we drive a safe route with spectacular views around every bend. Upon arrival at Poom Coom village in Mai Chau, we will take a short walk to visit the ethnic Thai people, then lunch will be served at local home. By 2:00 pm, driving 20 km more to Pu Luong Natural Reserve then start a 2 to 3 hour walk through beautiful hill side villages, magnificent rice paddies, seeing hand crafted bamboo water wheels. Day 2: Pu Luong - Mai Chau - Hanoi The daily life here starts early, it will be interesting for you to get up at the first sign of day light and take part in the activities in the morning, or take a stroll around Hang village before having breakfast with our new Thai friends. At 8:00 am start a trek inside the Pu Luong Nature Reserve then the driver will pick us up and transfer to the Poom Coong village for lunch. We leave Mai Chau at 2:30 pm and end the trip in Hanoi by around 6:00 pm.
