Hannah took me and my daughter to numerous areas in Hanoi's Old Quarter for the sunrise and to see the various neighborhoods preparing for the day's activities. It was very interesting to see the various markets (meat, vegetables, flowers) setting up their wholesale stalls, and the buyers making early purchases. Afterwards Hannah took us for a delicious Hanoi breakfast. I can highly recommend Hannah as your tour guide in North Vietnam.
We really enjoyed our early morning tour. Would highly recommend it. The flower market was fabulous to see and breakfast by train street was very tasty. The flag raising ceremony was worth visiting too, you understand the Vietnamese a little better after seeing that.
Hannah was great. We did a walking tour of food and flower market and old quarter of Hanoi. Also Ho Chi Minh's tomb. Her English was very good and her history knowledge was wonderful. And finally the three food stops were spectacular. Coffee shop, pho and one other which I can't remember.

This is Hanoi's largest flower market, with fresh flowers arriving daily from all around Vietnam, including as far as Da Lat. Enjoy a lovely stroll around the flower market, which was not quite as crowded as the Long Bien Market and was just as lovely! From daisies to roses to orchids, tables will be piled high with colorful packages of just about every variety of flower imaginable. - Admire the daily Flag Raising Ceremony at Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - Walking around Hanoi Old Quarter. - Visit Hoan Kiem Lake and the Ngoc Son Temple 7. 15: Breakfast & a cup of signature Vietnamese egg Coffee 8. 00: Time to say good bye You will be dropped off at the hotel
