Alex was extremely knowledgeable about Hanoi and engaged my husband in his many questions regarding the Viet Nam war. Also, Alex recommended a show at the Tuong Theatre that we look forward to seeing tonight. We toured the Citadel, history museum, browsed the Old Quarter and stopped for a coffee. Touring with Alex on the Hanoi (Vietnam) historical trail was educational, fun, and informative. He communicated very well in English, was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. We toured the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, the Museum of History, the Old and French Quarters and we had coffee (soda) at a local coffee shop. 8. 30AM: Pick up from your hotel to visit Thang long Imperial Citade lThe large central sector of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long in Hanoi was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site just in time for Hanoi's millennial anniversary in 2010, visit Doan Mon (Southern Gate), the Kinh Thien Palace Foundation, D67 department, the Princess's Pagoda (Hau Lau), and the North Gate (Bac Mon). 10. 00AM: Transfer to Historical Museum. The Museum was established from 1958 by Vietnam Goverment upon on museum of the Ecole Française d'Extreme-Orient which was built in 1926 and completed in 1932. 11. 00AM: Transfer to the Old Quarter to see the local lives is the most interesting part of Hanoi city tour. We will go through the local market and very narrow, long building. You may enjoy a cup of traditional Vietnamese coffee or some glasses or local beer in the Old town. Tour will finish at approximately 12. 00AM. Note: The tour can be arrange in the afternoon from 01. 00PM
