Best of Skagway to Yukon Border Half-Day Shore Excursion

This tour was absolutely wonderful! We took the White Pass train round trip earlier in the day, and our tour with Samuel began right after lunch. It was the perfect complement to the train ride. Even though we had already traveled through the area by rail, the scenery and viewpoints from the road felt completely different—it was truly the icing on the cake. Samuel made several stops for photos and gave us the opportunity to explore areas we had only glimpsed from the train. We were also incredibly fortunate to see lots of wildlife, which made the experience even more memorable. As an added bonus, the tour took us farther into the Yukon, allowing us to see even more breathtaking scenery. Samuel is knowledgeable, friendly, and an excellent guide. If you're considering this tour, don't hesitate to book with him—you won't be disappointed!

Can’t rate Sam and this tour high enough. Our eight person family was totally comfortable in his large van. We saw amazing sites, got great photos, and even visited the sled dogs. A superb way to see Skagway and environs. Sam is funny, friendly, and knowledgeable. A top tour!

I highly recommend this tour!! Sam S did an outstanding tour. He was there early and we were able to start out your. everyone really enjoyed our tour we did today. They all said what a great time they had. They thought Sam was an amazing tour guide. We made picture stops that were great. If you are looking for a 5 hour tour of Skagway and the Yukon area and we stopped at a sled dog area and got to pet the puppies and other dogs. We also did a stop at the suspension bridge. The 5 hours were interesting and informative. Sam made the whole tour very interesting. Thanks again.

Amazing private tour for our group of 10 to the Yukon. You will quickly learn that Sam is very passionate and knowledgeable about Skagway and the surrounding area. Our ship was in early and Sam was aware of this so he came right away to pick us up at the dock. Upon returning to Skagway, he dropped some members of our party off in town while driving the rest back to the dock. Sam quickly got to know our group and fit right in with stories and jokes to keep the trip enjoyable. We all enjoyed the little side trips to see things that you will not see on a cruise excursion. If we didn’t want to stop at a particular point of interest then he would add something else. The suspension bridge was well worth the stop. This is by far the best private tour we have done and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Fascinating tour with an excellent guide. Samuel the guide took us to the Genesis landscapes of Alaska and Yukon in a comfortable van. 5 hours of beauty that words and photographs cannot describe. Moshe(Israel)
