San Diego Highlights Half Day Shore Excursion

On this tour, we'll visit the Hotel Del Coronado which is known by the famous people who've been under its roof, from Thomas Edison to Marilyn Monroe, Madonna and among many others. With its iconic wooden structures and picturesque red turrets, it was once the world's largest hotel resort. But that's not the only historical stop of the tour: we'll also see the USS Midway aircraft carrier, named after WWII's Battle of Midway, which served the US navy for almost half a century. Right by it, we'll also enjoy the sight of a famous monument depicting a 1945 photograph where a sailor kissed a nurse celebrating war ended. Another historic monument we'll visit is The Cabrillo Monument, which remembers Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo who landed in San Diego Bay in 1542 and offers beautiful panoramic views of San Diego & Coronado. We'll also take a quick glance of downtown San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter, formerly a Red Light District in the past.

-After picking you up from your preferred location, we'll go on a scenic drive and cross the Coronado Bridge. -We'll then make our way to Hotel Del Coronado and walk through this beautiful Victorian establishment. -From here we'll drive back to downtown San Diego and stop by the bay to see the USS Midway Carrier Ship & the Unconditional Surrender (also known as the Giant Kissing Statue). -We'll then see Seaport Village by the bay (a charming shopping area). -We'll later reach the Gaslamp Quarter, originally a Red Light District during the 1900's, now with many restaurants, bars, and shops, and we'll pass by the Petco Park and the Padres home baseball stadium. -After this we'll visit The Cabrillo National Monument. -Finally, you'll be dropped off at your preferred location.
