Overview of your San Diego tour
I'm excited to bring you to some off the beaten path local spots by the shore! On this tour, we'll visit La Jolla, which became an upscale seaside resort through the years, thanks to its iconic coves home to seals & sea lions. But that's not the only coastal town we'll see! I'll also take you to the Del Mar resort town, which literally translates to "from the sea". It started attracted wealthy travellers since the 1900s many of which came to bet on horse races in the 1937 Racecourse which is still thriving today and has become a staple of local culture. However, neither of these are my personal favourites. One of them would be Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. There's many hidden outlook points around there, with great views atop the bluffs. But my absolute favourite is Carlsbad Village, often called as the Village by the Sea due to its leisurely trails towards the beach.
Your San Diego tour itinerary
-After picking you up from an agreed point, we'll head to the neighbourhood of La Jolla, now known as a hub for bio tech & oceanography. -We will proceed to drive along the Coast Highway and contemplate its beautiful scenery onward. -After exploring La Jolla, we'll continue on to Del Mar, now home to San Diego Fairgrounds and the Del Mar Racecourse, as well as luxury hotels and resorts. -From there we'll make our way to the laid back town of Encinitas, known to be the Flower Capital of the World because of the Poinsettia growers and the plethora o ornamental flowers all over. -Following Encinitas, we will continue to Carlsbad Village, where all my favourite shops & eateries are located! -After walking around and possibly even tasting some sweet delicacies, I will bring you back to where we met to drop you off for the end of the tour.
