Hi there! I’m Isabelle, your multilingual tour guide in Salt Lake City and its surrounding area. I’m originally from Europe and have lived and worked on 3 continents, but I’ve been calling Utah home since 2015. My love for travelling and exploring is one of the reasons I started offering guided tours. I'm now also certified through the Utah Tour Guide Association. Utah is fascinating, whether it’s the vast vistas and unique natural landscapes, or the pioneer history and the diversity of Salt Lake City, I'm excited to share my enthusiasm and passion for this unique part of the world while you take in the sights. Whether you're interested in learning about the Mormon pioneers and history, taking in the stunning landscapes across the Great Salt Lake, or discovering Salt Lake City’s culture and historic landmarks, I'll tailor each tour to your interests. My tours are customizable to families with kids as well, to make memories that will last a lifetime. My goal is to provide an engaging, interactive, and memorable experience that leaves you with a deeper appreciation for and a different view of this remarkable part of the world. Are you visiting family or here for business, or maybe passing through on a road trip? In any case, I'll be happy to help you make the most of your visit to Salt Lake City, Ogden, and Northern Utah!

Beyond the familiar pioneer stories lies a city shaped by ambitious merchants, booming businesses, travelers heading west, and people whose lives didn't always fit the respectable image Salt Lake City wanted to project. We'll walk along historic Main Street, exploring the city's religious origins, commercial ambitions, architectural landmarks, and more surprising past. You'll hear about the Pony Express, discover the historic buildings of Exchange Place, and uncover stories from the former red-light district. We'll finish at the Salt Lake City Main Library, where the rooftop offers an elevated view of downtown and a chance to put the city's layout into perspective. (Rooftop access is weather permitting!) This tour does not form a loop.
- Meet at the corner of South Temple and West Temple Streets, on the plaza in front of Abravanel Hall - From there we will follow Main Street through the historic commercial & financial district. - Stops on this stretch include: the old Pony Express station, Gallivan Center, Exchange Place (former stock exchange), City & County Hall - Finish at the Salt Lake City Main Library, with access to the rooftop (weather permitting!) for a view of the city
