I came to Miami over 36 years ago as General Manager for a large international Corporation and fell in love with this place! Florida, the Florida Keys, the Everglades, and special Miami are paradise for me. Miami with its tropical charm has a lot of history but is also a very bustling modern multicultural metropolis and a center for the film and fashion industry. The everglades, one of the largest ecosystems in the world is right in front our doors, and South Florida itself has so many beautiful places to offer and so many Attractions to see. Because of the knowledge collected in many years in Miami, I conduct my tours with a lot of historical, cultural and social information and many interesting background stories. My Goal is to show you the most beautiful, the most interesting and the most unique places in a very private tour, so that when you leave, your heart will stay in Miami. The tours I am offering are not the common tours you can book everywhere, they are very special and unique; real private tours. When planning a tour, I am always pretending that I would be the guest myself. What would I like to see? What service would I like to receive? What would I like to see or to do? What would be the best and most complete itinerary for the tour? I want always to offer the best; the best is only good enough for my guests. It begins with my vehicles, they are nice luxurious Cars and SUV's so we can travel in comfort, and is also manifested in the itineraries. We do not rush on my tours. They are all planed with you in mind. You like to stay somewhere longer we stay, you want to move faster we go. It is a private tour, so you will ultimately set the pace and the itinerary. Since 2012 I am full-time Tour Operator and Tour Guide and enjoying it every day. Overview of your Miami tour
During this very special City Tour we will go back in time! Back to the times when the area on the Miami River was only called " a promising wilderness", when settlers came by sailboats and later by railroad to settle this enchanted wild frontier town. From the founding to the modern city it is today, we will discover why it is called "The Magic City" and "The City Beautiful". Be captured by the stories, the history, culture, style and diversity of this tropical paradise. A fun and interesting tour, with time in between to watch Cuban Cigar rollers in Little Havana, or to have a tropical cocktail in one of the many street restaurants on Ocean Drive. Feel the excitement, and fall in love with this beautiful city as I have over 30 years ago!
Your Miami tour itinerary
During this History City Tour you will visit historical important places in Miami and Miami Beach or places where history was made. We will visit the Art Deco district, Collins Avenue with Hilton Fountain Blue Hotel and the famous Ocean Drive the hottest place on Miami Beach. Than we will cross Mc Arthur Causeway and Venetian Causeway, pass Port of Miami towards Wynwood to visit the Miami Designer and Miami Arts District in former Lemon City. From there we drive to Downtown where Julia Tuttle and the Brickell family together with Henry Morrison Flagler developed the city. Passing the original house of Dr. James Jackson, Miami's first physician, we come to Coconut Grove, South Miami and Coral Gables with Biltmore Hotel, Venetian Pool and Miracle Mile, some of the most beautiful parts of the "Magic City" You have not been in Miami without experiencing Little Havana, the Latin part of the city. There on Calle Ocho where the first Cuban's settled, we will hear and experience the story of these immigrants.
