I was born in Leningrad, now St. Petersburg, in the Soviet Union, and left for the USA when I was 23 years old, just out of college. Leningrad was and still is a city with great cultural traditions. I fell in love with its world-famous museums, art galleries, theaters, and other attractions. I have been guiding tours for most of my life and began while still in high school. During the summer, Leningrad was visited by numerous youth groups from the UK and USA and English-speaking students were recruited to show them around. That is how I got my first taste of being a tour guide. I continued guiding through college and often worked with young adults. After leaving the USSR, I settled in New York City, went to graduate school, and started my own travel company in 1985. We primarily worked with international visitors showing them famous places of interest all over the country, from coast to coast. Though I had other tour guides working at my company, I continued to guide because it was rewarding and enjoyable. I traveled extensively throughout the country and that's how I first became acquainted with South Florida. I instantly fell in love with this beautiful place and eventually moved to the Miami Beach area. I love South Florida and want my tourists to feel the same way. Overview of your Miami tour

I will take you down south via the most picturesque road in the USA - Overseas Highway through the Florida Keys and over 42 bridges. I have traveled thousands of miles on the US roads but this one is my favorite by far. You will feed giant fishes on the way and enjoy the tropical paradise of the island of Key West. See all of its famous attractions like the Southernmost Point, Harry Truman's Little White House, and 0 Mile. We cannot leave without visiting the legendary Ernest Hemingway's Museum. By the end of the tour we can have a drink in one of the numerous bars with a toast- enjoy the life to its fullest!

Alexander was prompt & extremely gracious on his treatment of 4 seniors. He imparted lots of information on the areas we visited, the activities that we participated in & Hemingway. Your Miami tour itinerary

I will pick you up early in the morning from you place of residence or your cruise ship and travel to the island of Key West over the beautiful Overseas Highway. Will travel through the Everglades area and make stops on the way - to have a cup of amazing Cuban coffee in Key Largo and to fee giant tarpons in Islamorada. Upon arrival to Key West, we will walk the streets of this exotic island from one famous attraction to another. You will feel the excitement of this tropical paradise and learn the story of the Conch Republic. I will take you to the wonderful photo ops at the Southernmost Point, 0 Mile, Little White House, Key West waterfront. I will take you on a tour inside the Ernest Hemingway's house and tell you all about this transformative writer. You will have leisurely lunch at a restaurant of your choice. Maybe even have a drink in the world-famous Sloppy Joe's bar, the favorite of Hemingway. I will take you back to Miami area via the Overseas Highway. That will be the end of the memorable day
