Hello! I was recently featured on CBS SUNDAY MORNING in a segment about Miami. I was selected as the top tour guide in Miami! I am a native of Miami Beach, a historical lecturer and tour guide for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, a certified Toastmaster and an amateur stand-up comic. I hold a B. S. from Florida International University in Tourism and Hospitality Management and studied Improvisation and Sketch Comedy at the Second City in Hollywood, CA. I have a passion for Miami and what I do, and have been guiding for 13 years giving an array of historical, cultural and culinary tours. I spend my free time researching history, attending local lectures and touring historical locations and museums. I enjoy participating in storytelling contests and open mic nights. I have been traveling the world since I was just a year old (my father was a NOAA Oceanographer and we joined him on many research missions). I work with local organizations giving cultural and historical community tours once a month. I am a member of HistoryMiami, Vizcaya, Toastmasters and the Daughters of the American Revolution Palm Beach chapter and the Historical Society of Palm Beach. I volunteer at and support the Fisher House at VA hospital in West Palm Beach. I love meeting people from around the world and creating lasting memories for them. I focus on tailoring each tour to my guests particular interests and make 6 star service my standard. Stella was fantastic! Perfect mix of story telling and history. Her vehicle was perfect with air conditioned seats for a warm day in Miami. She even messaged us after the tour because she saw a souvenir we were looking for in a local store.
My first thought was about the comfort features of the beautiful tour vehicle. Clean, beautiful, and state of the art! As the tour got underway I was very impressed by Stella’s knowledge of Miami’s culture and heritage. I asked several questions and she proved to be a wealth of information. This tour was the highlight of my ten day vacation and I highly recommend Stella’s tour to anyone visiting Miami!
This two hour tour offers an excellent synopsis of Miami. Our guide Stella was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional, providing lots of interesting information. Stopping for Cuban coffee in Little Havana was a nice touch. Highly recommend.
My husband and I had a limited time in Miami. We were fortunate enough to book a tour with Stella and were entertain and informed for a lovely afternoon discovering Miami and it’s varied populations and neighborhoods. Still was born and lived in Miami all her life. She has seen the changes first hand. Her stories and explanations were informative and entertaining. Her vehicle was large and comfortable. If you have limited time in the beautiful city of Miami and want to have an overview and history of that city…you must book Stella. She’s amazing!.
Stella is STELLAR!! She customize our tour to the tee. Picked up at our hotel, touring all the special areas of Miami with personal narrations, stopped for a wonderful Cuban lunch and to top it off she arranged for an additional separate 2 hour water tour seeing all the infamous houses only viewed from the water. Stella was a wonderful guide for what could have been a very tough day. Our group included an autistic teen and pre-teen with vastly different needs. We ended up spending significant time at a McDonald's. Our group's interests were varied; some were curious about history, while others were only interested in the wildlife. Stella handled it all with poise. Stella was incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and adaptable; She moved seamlessly between historical storytelling and nature, all while managing the group's sensory needs with grace. Highly recommend her for any family with diverse needs!
