Everglades Shared Airboat Ride and Wildlife Exhibits Half-Day Tour

This tour was just perfect. It was an in-depth and informative presentation about the FL Everglades, past and present. Our guide, Steven, was professional, punctual and extremely knowledgeable about the history, animals, vegetation, water, current events and geography. To assist in conveying the information, his photo slides were stellar and greatly enhanced our understanding of the area. The airboat tour was the icing on the cake with several alligator, osprey and heron sightings. Not to be missed!

Steve was easy going and very informative. He showed us a part of Ft Lauderdale that was very interesting. If you like a Paul Harvey type "rest of the story" you will enjoy this tour.

Steve is so enthusiastic that he provides power point notes/photos which he uses in his car to supplement the story he is telling. His depth of knowledge is incredible. We not only saw Fort Lauderdale we learned how it came into being and has grown through the ages. The Everglades airboat tour was delightful and skilfully organised as was the visit to the Sawgrass Recreation Park and Charity Alligator Sanctuary. Steve knew everybody, wherever we went, and was able to fast track access.

We had a very comfortable trip to the Everglades. Steven gave us a good background to the history of the Everglades. The boat trip was fun and we saw 2 alligators and lots of colourful birds. The animal sanctuary on the site was fascinating and the animals obviously well cared for and happy. Steven is well informed as to the plans to ensure the area and the animal habitat is preserved for future generations. A very interesting trip.
