Gangsters, Cocaine Cowboys and True Crime

Hello! I was recently featured on CBS SUNDAY MORNING in a segment about Miami. I was selected as the top tour guide in Miami! I am a native of Miami Beach, a historical lecturer and tour guide for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, a certified Toastmaster and an amateur stand-up comic. I hold a B. S. from Florida International University in Tourism and Hospitality Management and studied Improvisation and Sketch Comedy at the Second City in Hollywood, CA. I have a passion for Miami and what I do, and have been guiding for 13 years giving an array of historical, cultural and culinary tours. I spend my free time researching history, attending local lectures and touring historical locations and museums. I enjoy participating in storytelling contests and open mic nights. I have been traveling the world since I was just a year old (my father was a NOAA Oceanographer and we joined him on many research missions). I work with local organizations giving cultural and historical community tours once a month. I am a member of HistoryMiami, Vizcaya, Toastmasters and the Daughters of the American Revolution Palm Beach chapter and the Historical Society of Palm Beach. I volunteer at and support the Fisher House at VA hospital in West Palm Beach. I love meeting people from around the world and creating lasting memories for them. I focus on tailoring each tour to my guests particular interests and make 6 star service my standard.
