Greetings! My name is Carolyn I am offering regularly scheduled tours with a narrative and perspective not customarily included in traditional tours. My mission is to take you on an eye-opening journey, an experience, that enlightens and entertains. I share a Memphis you can feel! Together we will explore the influences and contributions made by African Americans in the development of this great city. You will be engaged not just by the sites we cover but the lesser known stories woven in between those historical sites. For over 25 years I have researched, developed tour routes, written scripts in Washington DC, Savannah, GA, Philadelphia, PA and Memphis, TN. I love the Hospitality Industry! It has given me the opportunity to meet some amazing people from around the world. Giving a tour to Oprah Winfrey and some members of her audience was one of many highlights. My vehicle can hold up to 10 guests. There is limited room for luggage. Vehicle can accommodate a collapsable wheel chair but it does not have a motorized lift mechanism.

We were fortunate to have Queen provide a most wonderful half day tour of Memphis. She has a way with words that brought the history of Memphis to life! She is incredibly knowledgeable and a great tour guide! Our tour ended with a most delicious "soul food" lunch! I highly recommend Tour of Possibilities!
Queen was very Friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. Comfortable Van. This tour specifically focuses on the African American experience in Memphis and their contributions to the city. Lunch was a plus.
IMPRESSIVE and AWESOME. Everyone in our group thought Carolyn's tour was IMPRESSIVE and AWESOME. We all felt that we got a very thorough tour that covered everything. We had a great time. Queen told many stories which were non stop pointing out things and their significance. She had a cheery attitude, was very well spoken, polite, cordial and even had a good sense of humor. You can tell that she is very passionate by her enthusiastic narrations. I highly recommend her tour. You will be ASTONISHED
This tour was amazing. Queen took the time to adapt our tour needs to a group that ranged from 12 years old to 85 with mobility issues. She was responsive when planning the tour and charming and engaging during it. Her knowledge of the history and culture of the City was unparalleled and she educated us in a way that was fun and entertaining. Lunch at the 4 Way Restaurant was amazing and my family just raved about the tour. If I could give this 10 stars out of 5- I would. Thank you, Queen!

Far exceeded our expectations! Queen has done her homework to chronicle Memphis historic events and her presentation is engaging and intuitive. My husband and I are in our 60's, our grandson is 18, and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our day. She is a bright light and her personality is what puts this tour over the top. Highly recommend!
We will start our journey down by the Mighty, Mighty Mississippi River where the city began. Travel through neighborhoods once considered the outskirts of the city and are now part of new developments that will change the face of Memphis. See a home that was once a part of the Underground Railroad where enslaved people hid until it was safe to continue their journey to freedom. A church built in the late 1800's that later became the gathering place for the striking sanitation workers of 1968. It was their struggle that brought Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to Memphis. We'll also see the Lorraine Motel, the site where Dr. King was assassinated on April 4, 1968. Beale Street, one of America's most iconic streets. I'll share the stories of why this was once known as the Negro Main Street USA. Memphis isn't Memphis without music. We will drive by the Stax Museum where artist like Isaac Hayes, Otis Redding, Booker T and the MG's recorded, to name a few. And there is more! Join me on a "Journey to Remember!"
