Are you coming to Kansas City?? My name is Sherrie O, I own Just One Day Travel Tours. I offers tours in and outside of the Kansas City area. I am a local Kansas City native and have lived here all my life. Here, we are all Kansas City fans. We love our city and all the things and people that make us unique. We are no longer the fly over region of the Mid West. We are a destination with a very diverse history! I provide single day bus adventures for larger groups, step on guide services and of course a wide variety of walking tours. Being able to show off the best that Kansas City has to offer if my favorite type of tour. I enjoy learning and meeting people from all places around the world and share stories about how we are all connected through art and culture. My background: I am married to my wonderful husband of 30 years. We have two adult children and a 9 month old grandbaby! I love to get out and explore the city and its surrounding areas. I enjoy crafting, creating art, concerts, yoga, museums, history and anything else that catches my attention. My first career was in the wedding industry as a wedding cake designer. While the cake is all about the big day, for me the rest of it was also all about serving others. After 30 years in the bakery industry and owning my own wedding cake business, I decided to chase my other dream of opening a tour business. I look forward to meeting your group and showing off Kansas City in the best way possible. Associates of Arts Degree Business Owner I am not a driver. I can however charter a driver or bus to suit your needs or I can be a step on guide for your charter.

This tour explores one my top 5 favorites in Kansas City, The Union Station. We'll step inside to see where rail trains became Kansas City's lifeblood with the industrial revolution. We'll also reach upper levels inside and take a bird's eye view of all the gorgeous architecture, while I tell you about life on the trains. We'll step into the grand hall and imagine what life was like in the 1930s during WWI and the thousands of people's that pass through there on a daily basis. Outside the station there's a wonderful view of the WWI Tower. Here you'll learn a little bit about that museum and surrounding buildings. The street car is new to Kansas City and is rapidly expanding. Every chance I have, I take the street car. From here we can travel through the city stopping at a few locations to check out some of the fountains that make Kansas the City Of Fountains. We will journey to the City Market area to see where the Confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, Lewis & Clark Expedition began, and more!
·We'll begin our tour from The Union Station (paid parking is available nearby). Going inside, we will see its beautiful architecture, original post office boxes, miniature train museum and more. ·Next we will board the Street car and travel through the city. Along the way, we will be able to get off and on the streetcar to focus on the places that interest YOU the most (and of course we can even stop for a treat!). We will be passing by: -Fountains in Kansas City. -Spray Painted Murals. -Entertainment district. -Confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers. -City Market. -Steamboat Arabia's Paddle wheel. -Historical Buildings. -Cross Roads entertainment district. ·Our tour will end at the City Market. You could choose to stay here, playing and exploring or just catch the Street Car Back to The Union Station. Itinerary can be customized upon request.
