Palm Beach Rich and Famous with Shopping on Worth Avenue

We start with a drive along the Atlantic coast, where mansions are valued up to $60 million! We'll pass by Trump's winter White House, Mar-A-Lago. Then you'll pass by homes of Rod Stewart, John Lennon, Vera Wang, Estee Lauder, Howard Stern and Rush Limbaugh. Your next stop is for some cocktails or a meal at any place you like. Here are some suggestions on places people rave about: •The Seafood Bar at the Breakers Hotel (Ocean view - my favorite!) •The Palm Beach Grill - vegetarian + (prime rib, ribs, and hot fudge sundaes) •Table 26, gluten-free + (pork chop, signature martini, squash blossoms) •Buccan - vegetarian + (mushroom pizza, empanadas, tapas) I'll show you the location of a secret club where even the members deny that it exists! Rub elbows with the rich and famous along the shops of Worth Avenue, often compared to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. You also find out about the eight most up-and-coming fashion designers and what styles they are promoting for the future, today.

Although this is a home tour, we will not visit inside any homes, or disturb any of the occupants. We will be driving by the homes, but not entering any of them. The driving tour includes about a dozen celebrity homes, then a stop at the Four Arts Plaza. The "Society of the Four Arts" purchased the lots to display botanical arrangements suitable to Florida weather. Then they added the Sculpture Garden, thanks to generous donations from residents. There is time for lunch or cocktails at any interesting venues nearby. Then you will see the "Everglades Club", which was owned by Paris Singer, son of Isaac Singer, inventor of the sewing machine. The club includes 60 acres, but membership is exclusive. In fact, members will say it doesn't exist! The remaining time is for shopping on Worth Avenue, where new designers compete with the most famous designer shops in the world. You'll hear about 8 of them.
