I came to Miami over 36 years ago as General Manager for a large international Corporation and fell in love with this place! Florida, the Florida Keys, the Everglades, and special Miami are paradise for me. Miami with its tropical charm has a lot of history but is also a very bustling modern multicultural metropolis and a center for the film and fashion industry. The everglades, one of the largest ecosystems in the world is right in front our doors, and South Florida itself has so many beautiful places to offer and so many Attractions to see. Because of the knowledge collected in many years in Miami, I conduct my tours with a lot of historical, cultural and social information and many interesting background stories. My Goal is to show you the most beautiful, the most interesting and the most unique places in a very private tour, so that when you leave, your heart will stay in Miami. The tours I am offering are not the common tours you can book everywhere, they are very special and unique; real private tours. When planning a tour, I am always pretending that I would be the guest myself. What would I like to see? What service would I like to receive? What would I like to see or to do? What would be the best and most complete itinerary for the tour? I want always to offer the best; the best is only good enough for my guests. It begins with my vehicles, they are nice luxurious Cars and SUV's so we can travel in comfort, and is also manifested in the itineraries. We do not rush on my tours. They are all planed with you in mind. You like to stay somewhere longer we stay, you want to move faster we go. It is a private tour, so you will ultimately set the pace and the itinerary. Since 2012 I am full-time Tour Operator and Tour Guide and enjoying it every day. From the Beaches to Downtown, from Las Olas Boulevard to local hot spots, you will see it all. Enjoy our walk on the Riverwalk, my favorite part of this trip. A fun and interesting tour, with time in between to stroll along on Ft. Lauderdale Beach. Listen to the stories, and the history and there is a lot to see. Don't forget your camera!
Armin was great! He took us to many places that we would not have known to look at in Ft. Lauderdale. We saw magnificent homes and yachts and the canals that they were on. We changed the tour a bit so we could find a place for lunch and Armin recommended some nice options. I would definitely use him again if we are in the area.
We had a free morning in Ft Lauderdale so we spent it touring the city with Armin. We drove past beaches and by the many canals, and old beautiful houses! Also saw the original house in Ft Lauderdale! We happened to be in town on a Saturday and got to spend some fun time walking through the downtown markets that were set up in some blocked off streets!! Our four hours went by very quickly! We had a great time!!
I had booked a tour with Armin about 3 years ago. We were with another couple and we were looking to tour Miami before we went on a cruise, we had so much fun. Fast forward to now and now the wife and I are going on a cruise out of Fort Lauderdale. We had 3-4 hours before boarding the ship and we had such a great time with Armin that I booked him again with hesitation. As with the last time he promptly picked us up from the airport and whisked us around town. We enjoyed the sites and had a wonderful lunch. At the end of touring he got us to the cruise terminal and while we were happy to be starting our cruise, we were somewhat sad that our time together was over. If you are in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area and are looking for a great tour guide, look no further than Armin!!!
Had a great tour with Armin! He picked us up at the dock in a nice Yukon and showed us around Fort L. We wanted to get an overview so we would know options for where to stay and eat on future trips. The Riverwalk area is very nice and walkable; never would have found this otherwise. Armin knows the local history and what is happening in the local area, also knows Miami very well. He says it is possible to arrive in Miami early, take a tour there or in Fort L, and be dropped off at the cruise dock.
Good tour but car not comfortable for 6 people. No time to visit shops.
We will pass by the port of Ft. Lauderdale towards downtown and we will drive to the oldest house in Ft. Lauderdale, the Stranahan house before we discover all the shops and restaurants at the famous Las Olas Boulevard. Yachts in all sizes and marinas are everywhere, that is why this city is called "The Venice of Florida". A walk along the beautiful Riverwalk to the original place of the "New River Settlement" where everything started will be one of the highlights of the tour. Than we will visit the Beach of Ft. Lauderdale with 6 miles of sandy beaches and a Beach promenade with Shops, Bars, and Restaurants which invite you to stroll around. Fall in love with this tropical town.
