Each year thousands of tourists come from all over the world to visit Anzac Battlefields. I look forward to enriching your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit these sites with detailed commentary on the events that took place here. We will visit places such as Anzac Cove, Brighton Beach, Ariburnu Cemetery, Anzac Commemorative Site, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Orijinal Trenches & Tunnels, Turkish 57th Regiment Cemetery, and the Chunuk Bair NZ Memorial. In each spot, we visit you will have free time to discover and take photos. You will feel different in the original WWI trenches. And noticing how close the opposing trench system will surprise and confuse your mind. You will hear different stories of young men who came from far and close. There is much to see in this region and my tour will be carefully tailored to match your specific interests and desired pace. I am eager to share my years of knowledge about the region with you.
Your Canakkale tour itinerary
After picking you up, our first objective will be driving to Brighton Beach 15 minutes away. On the way, we'll talk about the plans for landings at the beaches. Once we arrive, we'll enjoy the beautiful views and take a stroll on the beach. Later we will set out for Anzac Cove and the Beach Cemetery (The man with the donkey's grave is found here). We'll also visit Ariburnu Cemetery (recounting Atatürk's Adress to the allied soldiers and mothers) and talk about the ANZAC landings and Turkish defence in the first days. Breathe the same atmosphere at the Anzac Commemoration Area by navigating landing zone and the sphinks. Afterwards next step is Lone Pine Australian Memorial & Cemetery, walk in the trenches and hear about underground tunnel battles in Johnston's Jolly. In the Turkish Cemetery compare the graves and enjoy your drinks or ice-cream. As soon as you arrive at the Nec remember Mel Gibson's Film, hear the battle of nec and visit Chunuk Bair NZ Memorial & Cemetery. Hear about Wellingtoners on the top.
