Gallipoli Battlefields Suvla Sector Half-day Tour from Canakkale

Almost hundred years ago hundreds of thousends men from Turkey, Great Britain, France, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, India, Balkans and Middle East came and fought here in the trenches feeling homesick, patriot. Nowadays people feels all those men's sacrifice, eagerness, motion, patience and courage. While you are walking in plain feel their emotions, try to understand what they achieved or struggled for. And today how is their grandchildren's perspective to Gallipoli Campaign and its results and effects on geography, history, people whom they left behind. . . Generally some guest who are trying to find the footsteps of their ancestors are coming to this far corner of Gallipoli. But number of people increases in recent years that they interested in this forgotten story. In these fields so much history and story wait for your visit.

-We drive from Eceabat for 30' and pass by famous Anzac places and stop at Canterbury NZ Cemetery for a few minutes then to Embarkation Pier Cemetery to visit. -On the way to Suvla Hill, 60 NZ Memorial & Cemetery (on wet days we walk 600m) can be visited by turning to the right from the junction or go ahead for Green Hill Cemetery to see the center of august battles. Suvla Bay can be seen from here clearly. -After spending some time, Suvla Point and Kangaroo Beach are our next steps. By stopping at this northwesternmost point of Gallipoli Peninsula you will feel the fresh breezes from Aegean and Suvla Bay by seeing grey-coloured Salt Lake. -Azmak Cemetery contains some man of famous Norfolk Regiment (in wet days we walk 400m). We will spend some time here to talk about the surrounding area. -Then on the way back, Turkish Guns in Küçük Anafarta Village will be pictured. Büyük Anafarta village Museum is well worthseeing. On this tour, we will have plenty of time to take photos and talk.
