Overview of your Bodrum tour
As you may have read about me I always try to do my tours depending on guests interests and try to avoid the ordinary touristic paths. We will make our way to Ephesus which was one of the most important cultural centers of the ancient world. We will visit the Ephesus ruins, Odeon, Celcus Library and the Theatre which is still in use today for concerts and has an amazing capacity of 25, 000. As we walk through this ancient site you will notice the streets paved with marble which gives a hint to this city's great wealth many years ago. After lunch break we ll stop at the Artemis temple and Isabey Mosque. On request the next stop is a short visit to a local ceramics workshop, where you’ll get an introduction to Turkey's traditional art. Tiles and ceramics have been produced in this amazing country for hundreds of years, and you will get to watch a presentation on the process, then see Turkish tiles take shape. Virgin Mary's House is on request.
Your Bodrum tour itinerary
- l will meet you at the Cruise port or your hotel and we'll drive to Ephesus. The drive is 140 km and approx. 2. 30 hrs. - We'll visit the ancient city and the Artemis Temple which takes 2. 30 to 3 hours. - Time for lunch. - Then, on request we can visit Virgin Mary's House. Visit takes 1. 30hrs approx. - Finally, we'll drive back to Bodrum for about 2hrs.
