Bora D. is a fantastic guide who brings both knowledge and heart to his tours. His strong cultural understanding and thoughtful explanations of the Theatre of Halicarnassus and the Myndos Gate helped bring the history of the area to life. The highlight of the tour was the Turkish breakfast prepared by Engin Başol’s mother, Ümmüham, at the Başol family home, surrounded by hand-dyed wool and hand-woven carpets. Bora kept the entire experience lively, meaningful, and memorable from beginning to end.

What a day So much to see and do - and Bora's willingness to gift us with extra time was greatly appreciated. We all enjoyed the little tastes of Turkey along the way, and especially the ability to dine seaside for a delicious and fresh caught seafood lunch. The focus on agritourism was also appreciated and, while we didn't intend to buy rugs, after experiencing and learning about the coop, are glad we did.
