Wow! Thank you. Cristo and Touring canarias for a five star tour! From the pick up to the drop off, everything was perfect. Tenerife was such a beautiful surprise — a cosmopolitan Canary Island with dramatic coastlines, volcanic landscapes, and gorgeous ocean views everywhere you looked. It is the largest of the Canary islands and so vibrant. The island has such a relaxed, sophisticated vibe, blending Spanish culture with tropical scenery. And the weather they say they have five climates in one day and that is the truth. It could go from being gorgeous and sunny to cold and windy and rainy just like that. Fortunately, we were prepared.  Cristo set up a fabulous lunch at La Caldereta on a huge cliff overlooking the ocean. They bake their own bread and they had purple bread, black bread and white bread. Best bread ever. Local fresh fish, and amazing soup.  We even got to see Mount Teide, Spain’s highest peak and one of the largest volcanoes in the world. Cristo Manuel did an amazing job of showing us the beautiful island of Tenerife. He arranged a lovely tasting lunch mid tour. His descriptions and histories were very enlightening. Our private tour for four was safe and comfortable in his mid size van.

From pick up to drop off, the tour with Cristo was nothing short of maravilloso! He customized our tour to exactly what we wanted. Being born and raised in Tenerife, he had insight of the island that a big bus tour couldn’t possibly give. Cristo was very helpful to our older family guests, thinking of them as he navigated us through steep and narrow city streets, he would fetch the van for us once we walked downhill so that we didn’t have to walk back up it. We visited the black sandy beaches on the north side of the island, then we stopped at a charming hilltop restaurant where he had reservations for us 6 to enjoy a traditional Spanish luncheon. After, we stopped for a bit of local shopping, & then we dared the hairpin turns up to the top Mesca for the picturesque sights of the village and gorge. The entire day was a wondeful experience. We must return to Tenerife! Gracias!

Cristo is a wonderful guide. He is kind and curious and shares his vast knowledge of Tenerife's history and geography without it ever seeming overwhelming. He drove us all over the island and we got such an amazing taste of the various towns and industries across this lush, green wonderland. No matter how many questions we lobbed at him, he was ready with all the answers. We truly appreciated the time and care he took to give us an unforgettable experience. Thanks Cristo.
