¡Hola! My passion is travelling and nature and contact with people all over the world. Originally I am German but my studies in tourism helped me to work in Spain and I felt in love with Tenerife and arrived in 1999 on this beautiful island. My favourite tours are walking and hiking tours in the different Natural Parks of Tenerife and to the top of Teide. I would be pleased to show you the green corners of this mini continent, nature, flora & fauna off the beaten paths. If you are interested in the local history and culture I can show you the historic places on a walking tour. We will also have time to try the Canarian cuisine as well with a nice glass of wine. My aim is to support small local businesses and people I know for over 20 years. Leaving the bus or car behind and especially hiking you get to know the hidden secrets of this fantastic island. Overview of your Santa Cruz De Tenerife tour
This tour shows you the natural and green rainforest of Tenerife. Away from the big cities or tourist centers you will discover the nicest natural park of the island: Anaga My favourite region and a green hiker's paradise! Leaving the cruise ship port in Santa Cruz behind we will drive to the white Teresita's beach, unique on Tenerife. Afterwards the small mountain road leaves the dry coast and brings us into the "Monteverde-Region" the green hills. Here you will discover a special laurisilva vegetation: old prehistoric laurel and heather trees. The green dense forest varies with impessioning views to the end of the island and over the Anaga mountains. Are you curious to walk a bit into the laurel forest? Let's go for it! We will make a stop in the heart of the Mercedes forest nearby the visitor center Cruz del Carmen where you will be able to get in touch and to smell nature. If time permits we can make a short stop in the historic center of La Laguna before we drive back to the cruise ship harbour.
