Originally I am German but my studies in tourism helped me to work in Spain and I felt in love with Tenerife and arrived in 1999 on this beautiful island. My favourite tours are walking and hiking tours in the different Natural Parks of Tenerife and to the top of Teide. I would be pleased to show you the green corners of this mini continent, nature, flora & fauna off the beaten paths. If you are interested in the local history and culture I can show you the historic places on a walking tour. We will also have time to try the Canarian cuisine as well with a nice glass of wine. My aim is to support small local businesses and people I know for over 20 years. Leaving the bus or car behind and especially hiking you get to know the hidden secrets of this fantastic island. Overview of your Santa Cruz De Tenerife tour
The active volcano Teide is definitly the highlight of all hikes on Tenerife. With a special permit you can reach the last 170 high meters. This is an restricted and natural protected area where only a few guests come every day. We make your dream come true, be one of only few Teide lovers to climb up. With this mountain permit I will bring you on top of Spain up to 3. 718 meters. This tour is also situable for mountain lovers who have only a few mountain experience as we take the cable car up to 3. 550m. But you will notice the thin air! Under good weather conditions you will have a 360 degree mountain view also to the other Canarian islands. This is an absolutely fantastic and personal experience! Note that permits for Mt. Teide normally need 2 weeks in advance or more to apply. If you have a short term enquiry please feel free to contact me and we will inform you about any availablity.

-Pick up in the south of Tenerife or meeting point at the cable car station -Teleferico Teide -Cable car ride from 2. 300 to 3. 550 -900m ascent and 170m high meters hike to the top of Mt. Teide on trail Nr. 10 -Cable car ride back to the base station -Photo stops and visit of the famous rock formation "Roques de Garcia! -Transfer back to the south of Tenerife NOTE: You have to bring hiking shoes, warm clothes (in wintertime gloves and a cap) & wind- sun- and weather protection. This tour is not suitable for people with heart problems, cardiac or circulatory troubles or vertigo!
