¡Hola! My passion is travelling and nature and contact with people all over the world. Originally I am German but my studies in tourism helped me to work in Spain and I felt in love with Tenerife and arrived in 1999 on this beautiful island. My favourite tours are walking and hiking tours in the different Natural Parks of Tenerife and to the top of Teide. I would be pleased to show you the green corners of this mini continent, nature, flora & fauna off the beaten paths. If you are interested in the local history and culture I can show you the historic places on a walking tour. We will also have time to try the Canarian cuisine as well with a nice glass of wine. My aim is to support small local businesses and people I know for over 20 years. Leaving the bus or car behind and especially hiking you get to know the hidden secrets of this fantastic island. Definitely Tenerife's highlight: see Mount Teide and the National Park Scenic drive from the northeast coast of Tenerife and the capital Santa Cruz via the green and lush Esperanza-Forest into the National Park. On this 1. 5 - 2 hours drive you will see how fast climate and vegetation is changing on Tenerife due to the 2. 000 high meters we will make from the seaside to the high mountain area. Our advantage is a van and a very personal tour. As an official guide for Teide-Tours I can tell you everything about volcanoes, geology, climate and more insights. We can drive where most buses and guests will never come. Several photo stops will give you the best views on the west and east coast of Tenerife. Finally arriving in the National Park we will stop at a visitor center and the later on enjoy this lunar landscape with typical rock formations and lava flows. After a quick break and amazing photos we will drive back in direction north to your cruise ship terminal.
