My name is Guillermo, I was born in Tenerife. I decided to become a tour guide years ago to show and enjoy the island with you. The Teide National Park is World Heritage since 2007 for its extraordinary uniqueness! Discover a landscape from another planet! The third highest volcano in the world, is situated in the centre of Tenerife, a colossal stratovolcano of 3715 metres, known as Teide. For just one day you can play being geologists, biologists and botanists while enjoying a wonderful experience. Part of its fauna and flora is unique in the world. We will visit landscapes created by recent volcanic eruptions and others with 180, 000 years of antiquity. We will also visit La Laguna; a 16th C. town and the first capital of the island. It preserves one of the most beautiful historic centres. We will walk its streets with five centuries of history and enjoy its beautiful buildings and houses.
Guillermo was a wonderful guide. As a native of Tenerife, he knew the island top to bottom literally. We started in the national park and climbed to mount Tiede. Amazing geology and topography. We felt at times we were on the moon. We also visited local markets and had lunch at one of the stalls in the market. Really felt like a local!! We would highly recommend Guillermo for an immersive tour of Tenerife

Wonderful day with Guillermo! Touring 10 adults around isn’t always easy but Guillermo made it look easy! He seemed to know the best places to stop and the perfect vistas! His knowledge of the area was wonderful and he helped us understand the is. Thank you Guillermo from the Canadians!
If you are primarily interested in exceptional geology, this is the tour to take. The side trip through the interesting sights and market of La Laguna was a plus too. Seeing all the volcanic activity and resulting geologic formations requires a one hour + drive into Teide National Park with some viewing spots along the way. Guillermo knows his history and geology and has a pleasant, friendly manner. Lunch (not included) at a local spot was quite good and a nice break in the trip back to Santa Cruz.
Fantastic tour! This was the best tour of Teide National Park, the guide was so knowledgeable that we want to return to Tenerife for several days to explore the park again. We had some difficulty meeting with the guide and driver due to restrictions imposed by the Port Authority but we worked it out and like I said this was a fantastic tour especially with our guide!!
Guillermo was a wonderful guide for our group of six. We had a lovely tour of the southern part of Tiede National Park. Beautiful stops to fill my need for Landscape photography with great history and geography information along the way. We wrapped up our day with lunch at a local vineyard and the most incredibly homemade food. Highly recommend.
