You will hear some of my childhood shenanigans as we have a leisurely stroll along the historic Singapore River. I used to fish here when I was a kid. Although I had been to the Merlion Park umpteen times, it is still my favorite part of Singapore because it shows the old and new of Singapore. To me, this is the best photography spot. At the Civic District, I will share the unique details and stories about the colonial buildings. This district was where my family used to hang out for weekend picnic when I was a kid. Art works are one of my favorite ways to discover a city's street scene. When we arrive at Chinatown , I will show you some incredible mural and make them come to life by sharing about the background to the work. Monica was so entertaining while giving us incredible information on our walking tour thru city center singapore as well as touring where regular Singaporeans live. Her thoughtfulness included going thru as many air conditioned places as possible to make sightseeing tolerable in the incredible humidity & treating us to the best local ice cream. She is plain fun to be with. You must tour with her!

We had Monica for two days of touring in March in Singapore. I emailed her a list of must see places in the city. She fulfilled all of them plus she added in extra stops that were really great that we did think about we rode the subway like locals, she hailed cabs for us when we wanted to take a break from walking or to get to a location faster. She shared what living in Singapore was like for her and her family and we shared things about the U.S. You will have a great tour and fun time with Monica.
This was an excellent way to get oriented to and see much of Singapore in just a few hours. Monica is knowledgeable, interesting, and fun. She made a point to hit everything that we wanted to see, and knew how to do it in such as way that we didn't bake in the sun. In particular, she engaged with my children and held their attention. Highly recommend for a shore excursion or as a way to jumpstart your time Singapore.
Monica is a great tour guide with a wonderful sense of humor. We had an intensive four hour tour of the Singapore highlights. We visited the gardens by the sea, the art and science museum along with colonial Singapore. We even had time for a meal in the Hawking market. Monica was a lot of fun. She knows her way around town. She tried to keep us air-conditioned as much as possible because it was hot. Don't hesitate to book a tour with her, we will when we get back to Singapore.
