Nagarkot, A fort town in the ancient period which was build to monitor the activities of neighbor kingdoms is the most famous hill station near from Kathmandu city. It provide the beautiful panorama stretch of central Himalaya such as Manasalu range, Ganesh Himalaya range, Langtang range, Jugal range, Rolwaling range & Everest Himalaya range. Bhaktapur City Tour:- The ancient city of Bhaktapur or Bhadgaon (A city of Rice village) is decorated with Newari culture & brushed with rich ancient architecture. Also known as a city of city of devotee, wake up early in the morning and woman wearing red sari and man with Dhaka topi offering in around the corner of the small temple. It's almost 15 Km east from Kathmandu & like Kathmandu and Patan city Bhaktapur has too has its own magnificent Historical Durbar Square. 55 Window place , Golden Gate , Nyatapola Temple , Bhupatindra Mall statue , Pottery Square, TalaJu Temple are the main attraction.
The sightseeing guided by Sujan was great. We started right on time, the time that I personally requested. He provided a very good vehicle. The trip was as described plus some flexibility to add some stops. He is easy-going with excellent knowledge a professional local guide could provide. Highly recommned.
A wonderful tour through the best of these wonderful places, very close to Kathmandu. Sujan is very knowledgeable and he showed me the best of the best, while telling me interesting stories about the sites we visited. Really a great experience !!!
A great way to get out of Kathmandu and see a calmer side of the country. This tour is really convenient for travellers with only a short time to spend in Nepal, since there's no need to wait for buses - you'll be driven directly from destination to destination, with plenty of time to relax and really enjoy the day and absorb a sense of the places.
Sujan was very prompt on his daily pick up. The car was fairly modern and in good condition. The driver did a superb job negotiating the crammed streets of Kathmandu. Sujan came up with a complete two day schedule including a sunrise drive to view the Himalayas, albeit in the distance. His english is very good and he has a good grasp of the historical content of the city. I can recommend him without reservation.
I highly recommend this tour with Sujan - and can easily say it was my favourite day in Kathmandu. Sujan is a wonderful host. He organised a great driver to navigate the challenging road up to Nagarkot, and we arrived with just enough time for a hot cup of tea before walking the short distance to the viewing tower before the sun rose. Descending the hill to Bhaktapur was beautiful and I learnt a lot from Sujan's commentary on a walk through Durbar Square. You can't go wrong with this tour.
