Hi, Namaste. Myself Badri Aryal, government certified tour/trek guide in Nepal and Himalayas. Welcome to Nepal, the land of Himalayas, culture, tradition and spirituality. I have been serving in tourism and hospitality industries being on different position and roles since 2005. I had started my career in tourism business as an assistance/helper of trekking group, being a porter for 2 years in the beginning days. Then I guided in different mountains of Nepal for about 4-5 years as a licencee guide from the government of Nepal. Later, while I completed my graduation in tourism and management, I had an opportunity of getting trained by Nepal government as a professional tour guide. During the 6 months of theoretical and practical field visiting training, I got chance to know my country, our derived and diverse culture, history and tradition from a very close up distance. Having this training inspired me to being a cultural tour guide. As a professional trekking guide, I have guided hundred of tourists to the lap of beautiful mountains including famous Mt. Everest, Annapurna etc and have trekked in the areas of entire Everest region, whole Annapurna circuit, Annapurna Base Camp, Manaslu trekking, Upper Mustang, Langtang area and so on, similarly some beautiful hiking around Kathmandu including Chisapani-Nagarkot hike, Namobuddha-Panauti hike, Chandragiri, Shivapuri hiking etc have been done for number of times. Likewise, as a professional tour guide, I have served and guided hundreds of tourists in Kathmandu, Patan, Bhaktapur, Nagarkot, Pokhara, Lumbini, Chandragiri, Chitwan and so on cities. Furthermore, I have been also working as tour planner for some times, so I am prompt and professional on creating tailor made tours and customized itineraries, thus you can feel free to let me know for any personal and customized tour plans. Apart from guiding, traveling myself is one of my hobbies. So far, apart from Nepal, I have been to Bhutan, India, Thailand, Singapore, Italy, Belgium & Norway and soon planning for some more places. Meeting people and exchange the experiences & exchange of culture is another hobby of mine, so I can enjoy while working as a guide as my passion than just a job. Well, I believe that you are one of those who loves an experienced local personal as your guide, and you may eye here and let me be your travel host. Look forward to welcoming you all and divert your travel to a collection of fun, memory and joyful. - Certified Tour guide. - Nepal Academy of Travel & Tourism Management Degree. None

Come with me to discover the amazing UNESCO World Heritage sites of Kathmandu! In Patan Square we will explore the courtyards & museums together. I have always loved the handicrafts on stone, wood & metal - they are the most fabulous. As well as the Golden Temple, we will also visit the Pashupatinath temple complex. This place is totally different from Western traditions as you can see cremations being carried out. As a local I can explain the traditions behind this fascinating holy place. I know a great spot at Boudha Nath complex that I will take you to. From this viewpoint we will have a spectacular view of the great Stupa. At Swayambhu Nath we'll take the stairs up to the main Stupa. You will soon see why this place is known locally as Monkey Temple! I will also take you to traditional Tibetan painting school where you get to learn about the Buddhism in detail.
