Heritage Tour in Kathmandu

The cultural history of Nepal is extremely rich and diverse. Kathmandu valley is the heritage city with many priceless historical monuments that are listed as World Heritage sites. In this tour, the first day you will visit the towns that are not usually visited by many tourists and located in the south of the capital city. The twin towns of Khokana and Bungamati are a living museum. They have gone through lots of changes due to the 2015 devastating earthquake, but the essence and feelings are still there!. Walking through and exploring these towns is an enriching and unique experience to cherish in your life. The next day, you will visit the oldest temple on the top of the hill, with a scenic view and historical monuments. And finally, Bhaktapur, the medieval city, another masterpiece of Nepalese art and cultural heritage will be visited.

Day01: Starting your tour at 8 am after your breakfast, travel to Bungamati and explore the twin cities of living museum located to the south of Kathmandu valley. You will walk in the narrow streets and visit the heritage sites- great way to be with the area and locals. After the tour, around 2 or 3 pm approximately travel back to your hotel Day02: Around 8am, travel and explore the oldest heritage assets - Changunarayan, located on the hilltop and the medieval city of Bhaktapur that is also called city of devotees. The grand old structure (this place also lost some of very important monuments in 2015) are amazing. You would love this place! After the tour, around 2 or 3 pm approximately travel back to your hotel Both tour involves 6-8 hours of visit, and you will return to your hotel in the afternoon
