I Love NATURE! I am a keen birder. I love to share my knowledge and experience of birds and Nepal wildlife that I know. Overview of your Kathmandu tour

During this tour you will explore Kathmandu valley and Pokhara, both best and easily accessible cities that are great for birds, culture and for natural scenic views. Kathmandu is a unique place with many middle hills and some lowland birds, and Pokhara is great for many birds including the most endangered raptors and endemic species of birds. You can enjoy the openness of the Pokhara valley with spectacular Annapurna and Phewa lake while watching birds in Pokhara valley. The birds in both places includes Red-billed Blue Magpie, Long-tailed Broadbill, Black Eagle, Striated/White-crested and White-throated Laughingthrush and White-rumpped, Slender-billed Vulture, Red-headed Vulture, Spiny Babbler, Mountain Hawk Eagle and many more. Come and join me!

Your Kathmandu tour itinerary

Day 1: Birding in Godawari and Botanical garden in Kathmandu Day 2: Continue birding in Phulchauki Hill in Kathmandu Day 3: Travel to Pokhara for some 6-7 hours and explore birdwatching in the afternoon- time permitting Day 4: Continue birding and explore the valley floor and hills of Pokhara and around the lakeside. Day 5: Travel back to Kathmandu by land and transfer to your hotel. ** Note: This tour is available in December and January - two months only
