Birding Multi Day Tour in Kathmandu

I can not imagine this world without any birds! Watching birds and enjoying them in their natural state is my greatest hobby, and It's a great pleasure when your hobby is also your job and allows you to meet like-minded people from all over the world. This tour I am offering includes all the major bird watching sites that are very popular and important for birds and for the country. Hosting some 400 species of birds, Kathmandu has some unique ecology, where one can find Spiny Babbler, an endemic species, to endangered, rare and globally threatened species. One can further enjoy birds of lowlands to alpine habitats. Birds that you will be hearing and seeing are Barbet, Warblers, Magpie (Green and Red-billed Blue), Babbler, Fulvetta, Laughing Thrushes, Rock Thrushes, Minivets, Shrikes, Green and wood Pigeons, Bulbul, Drongo, Forktails, Vultures, Eagles, Hawk, Buzzards, Falcons etc. And love to show you Himalayan Cutia and many other species

Day 1: Travel to Godawari to the south of the valley by private car and start birdwatching in Godawari community forest and Botanical garden. Day 2: To Shivapuri national park, to the north of the city and enjoy the birdlife of this beautiful nature parks. Day 3:Travel To Nagarkot located some 35 km off the city, a famous hill station, perfect for the birding in summer and for Mountain View in the morning. Overnight hotel. Day 4: Continue birding in the morning till noon and travel back to Kathmandu. The start time is usually early as 6 or 7am depending on the season. The birding is done for almost all the day though again that depends on your wish or weather or chance. Its minimum 6 hours but will be more depending on the area and the birds seen
