This excursion(about 45Min from city center) to the foothills of the Atlas mountains offers you a pleasant tour in the Ourika valley far from the noisy city center. Here you will be in contact with the Berbers; who still keep their ancestral way of life. You will be invited to have a mint tea in a traditional house and a small walk in the village. Also it is the occasion to admire the beauty of the Atlas mountain.

Khalid came highly recommended, and it is obvious to see why. We both love history and we were in rapture with his explanations of the history of this extraordinary country. Taking local tea in a Berber house was a highlight. The potters were so fun and enjoyable to watch. The stream where locals come sit and picnic was a real eye opener, all the stallholders selling tangines you can eat while your feet are in water as local musicians and hawkers pass by.
