I've been living in Veracruz for 35 years and I love it! Veracruz is known as the main entrance of the mexican culture and its History. Veracruz is also rich in nature, is one of the states of México that has a lot of types of ecosystems, and I would like to have the opportunity to share my love of Veracruz and its heritages with you because knowing is loving, and maybe if you let me be your guide you will love Veracruz and you will want to come back. I've worked as a tour guide for 15 years, not only in the city of Veracruz, also in its sorroundings. All my tours can be customized depending of your needs and expectations. Tourist Guide Certified by Mexican Goverment, training as Gay Friendly Tourist Guide, also I have done a lot of courses of History of México and Veracruz, and I studied Tourism at the University. I am not a driver. I can arrange for a separate car and driver when the tour doesn't includes tranportation. I am not an adventure guide, so in the adventure tours, I will be with you and another certified person will be guiding you.

Tajin and Papantla
Overview of your Veracruz tour
The Totonac region is famous because of its culture, traditions, gastronomy and also because of the vainilla that is a gift from Veracruz to the world. First we will arrive to the "Thunder city" Tajin, one of the most important capitals of the Totonacs, and it was a ceremonial and political center. Near Tajín is the village of Papantla, a colorfull village, where you can visit the downtown, with a beautiful church, the park, and the handycraft market. In Mexico, the Ministry of Tourism gives to some villages the title of "Magic Village" to the villages that protect their original architecture, and protect their traditions and local customs, and Papantla is one of them.
Your Veracruz tour itinerary
We are departing early in the morning to arrive to Tajín before midday, and could enjoy the beautiful place and maybe we will see the Birdsmen Ceremony. After midday we are going to have lunch in Nakú Restaurant tasting local cuisine, and you will see how the vainillas handycrafts are made. Then we will go to Papantla visiting the park and the main Church in the village. Then we will return to Veracruz.
