Overview of your San Cristobal De Las Casas tour
Your adventure begins with a ride in a 4×4 truck. Hold on as we follow a scenic dirt road through the mountains, with sweeping views of the cane fields in the lowlands and the La Angostura River on the horizon. From there, we’ll walk about 400 meters to reach the river and base camp. Local adventure guides will lead us from the calm beauty of the forest into the thrilling world of canyoning—where you’ll challenge your limits in the water. The main activity is canyoning: walking, swimming, sliding, and climbing along the river, plus adrenaline-filled jumps from waterfalls ranging from 1 to 7 meters high. Afterward, you’ll test yourself with a rappelling descent—40 meters down beside a waterfall, secured by rope. Dare to live the experience! Once the action is over, we’ll enjoy a light lunch and relax in hammocks under the shade, listening to the sounds of the forest and waterfalls, before boarding our 4×4 for the return ride to town.
