Alex is an outstanding tour guide and we absolutely enjoyed our journey with him to Palenque and the waterfalls. He is enjoyable and interesting company , a very good driver, and well prepared to explain the sights . We were very comfortable, the pace was well planned and despite being a long day he was always on target taking care of everything. We both highly recommend his service and intend to see him again on a future travel.[PS he even returned to our hotel to bring my glasses which i forgot]

Alex was our tour guide for two tours: Sumidero Canyon on April 18 and the Mysteries of Palenque tour on April 22. The tour and Alex were perfect. Alex was knowledgeable, punctual and very helpful. Alex was great at having the perfect balance of providing information without being overwhelmingly chatty. Alex was absolutely great; firstly he supported us even the days before our arrival to plan the rest of our stay in Chiapas (the rest of our stay not included in the tour itself!) and without asking for any fee. The daily tour to Palenque was fabulous. Alex was super punctual, precise and a truly pleasurful company for all the long drive hours giving us interesting tips, comments and insights on Mexico, Chiapas, its people and the Mayan culture. Moreover he was greatly prepared on the Maya Sites visited.

Alexander was a charming guide. He was knowledgeable on the Mayan period and very good at explaining the architecture and rituals of that era. In addition He was a careful driver in difficult road conditions. I would certainly recommend him as a guide.

- Early departure from San Cristobal de las Casas at 4:20 AM - 2-hour drive through the beautiful mountains of Chiapas - Breakfast in restaurant with gorgeous view over Ocosingo Valley - 1.5-hour drive - Agua Azul waterfall (1 hour) - 1-hour drive - Misol-Ha waterfall (45 min) with option of lunch in the restaurant - 30-minutes drive - Palenque archeological site (2 hours) with museum - 4.5-hour drive back to San Cristobal de las Casas. Arrival at 8-9 PM This tour can be customized upon request
