We had an amazing time with Eriko San. She was knowledgeable and gave us a true locals look at Nagano and Obuse. We had local food at non-touristy places and got to experience the best of the area in a short time. I would highly recommend!
I went on the food and sake tour in the morning, and visited the monkeys in the afternoon. Eriko was lovely, knowledgeable and accommodating, and made sure that we stayed on track and on time. This is a very packed day if you are trying to come from Tokyo and get back in one day, but it is doable. Visiting the monkeys is really a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I think that doing the tour this way was much better than in a big bus group.
We spent a VERY ENJOYABLE and INFORMATIVE afternoon with Eriko! Had a wonderful time at the dumpling restaurant, Saki tasting, and witnessing the fire ceremony at the temple. Highly recommended Eriko!
Eriko is an incredible tour guide. She is very professional, friendly, kind and had everything planned out perfectly. This was definitely the best part of our trip. Seeing the snow monkeys in their natural habitat was a once in a lifetime experience. We were also able to visit with some of the town locals and had an amazing time learning about their local foods and customs. We highly recommend this tour!
Eriko was wonderful. We took a one-day trip from Tokyo to see the Snow Monkeys and couldn't have done it without her. She helped plan every detail of the day and was very informative. We loved our tour. When we go again, I will use her again. Happy 2024, Eriko.
