Hello and welcome to Kyoto! I am a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter. You can call me MIYA. I got my certification in 2021 and have been working as a professional guide since January 2023, primarily in Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, and Koyasan. I find Japanese culture to be truly distinctive. And I love Kyoto, which still embodies so much of that unique culture and present to travelers. There are so many precious moments working as a guide. When guests see something and say “Wow!” when they enjoy Kyoto and discover commonalities with their own culture.etc.. My personal interests include eating, drinking, art, movies, and travel. I will try to find restaurants that match your preferences. Here, I would like to start by offering tours that I have already guided visitors many times and I found them popular. For example: Backroad Arashiyama to the famous bamboo grove Kyoto Art Tour Garden Tour Tour of Nishijin, the Heart of Kimono Craftsmanship Nara one Day Tour etc.. And then Future tours I hope to offer here include some lesser-known spots such as: Gion Festival Tour (through July) Osaka Modern Architecture Tour Kyoto Film Tour: Once Called Japan's Hollywood Shiga Prefecture Water City Tour And many more Looking forward to seeing you! Thanks. I hold the following qualifications: Art Certification Kyoto Certification History Certification Authorized Tour Conductor National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter

Located in the deep Arashiyama area, which has continuously attracted nobles, artists, and poets throughout its long history, this area has quite a few unique historical sites and pretty nature. The road along the way is one of the few places in Kyoto where you can slip back in time to the 17th-century Edo period. Why not visit some places among them, according to your taste with me? I'd like to wrap it up in the must-see main bamboo grove and the movie star's garden.
・Meeting at your Hotel or a major station in the city center at 9 AM . ・Otagi Nenbutsu-ji: This temple, created by an artist monk, is a unique temple you won't find anywhere else. You might discover many arty things here. (**Closed on Wednesdays and Saturdays.) ・Adashino Nenbutsu-ji: In this sacred temple near the realm of death, you may catch a glimpse of medieval commoners' views on life and death. ・Gioji Temple: So picturesque moss garden with a unique history. ・Rakushi sya: Pretty little hut of an Edo-Period Haiku Poet with many rustic flowers / OR Oukochi Denjiro villa Garden (maybe both places) ・Bamboo grove & Nonomiya Shrine:If it's your first time visiting Kyoto, this could be a must-see. If you dislike crowded places, let's go somewhere else nearby. ・(Lunch); you could skip a big lunch and have snacks instead.
